Local Guides Bangla at the Cumilla Triathlon Championship 2025
The buzz is real! The Cumilla Triathlon Championship 2025 is set to make history as Cumilla’s first-ever triathlon event. And guess what? We, the passionate members of Local Guides Bangla, are thrilled to announce our active participation as volunteers for this landmark event.
As Local Guides, we’ve always been about connecting people, exploring places, and creating meaningful experiences in our community. This time, we’re extending our spirit of service to an entirely new level—playing a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the championship.
Our Role at the Event
We’ll be part of the dedicated volunteer team on race day, guiding athletes and spectators to have a seamless and safe experience. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll be doing:
- Providing Guidance to Athletes:
Our team will be stationed at key points, including the starting areas, and transition zones, and along the scenic Gomti River Drive route. Athletes will be briefed on safety measures, equipment checks, and cut-off times to ensure compliance with the event’s regulations. - Supporting Event Flow:
From helping athletes understand course layouts to managing crowd control at DharmaSagar, we’ll ensure that everyone knows where to go and what to do. - Encouraging and Motivating Participants:
We’ll be there to cheer athletes on, offering encouragement as they conquer the swim, bike, and run sections. Our energy will contribute to the unforgettable atmosphere of the event. - Assisting with Kit Expo:
On February 21, during the Kit Expo at Cumilla Nazrul Institute Center, we’ll assist participants in collecting their race kits and verifying essential documents like swim certificates and recommendation letters. - Ensuring a Safe Experience:
Collaborating with the event’s safety team, we’ll help monitor athlete well-being and direct those needing medical or physio support to the right stations.
